The excess gas temperature increases as the stellar velocity dispersion decreases, which suggests that there may be additional mechanisms to the gravitational heating. This heating mechanisms may not be stellar origin like supernova explosions. To reveal this mechanisms, we propose the observations of early type galaxies which have low velocity dispersions and low blue band luminosities. Co-Is: 1 TAKESHI TSURU KYOTO UNIV.
