Abstract: We propose to observe the BL Lac object PKS 0548-322 which exhibit three absorption features in its soft X-ray spectrum observed in the ASCA PV observation phase. To determine its distance from the emission region and its density, follow up observation under different luminosity is needed. In comparison with the results obtained with Einstein observatory, it is suggested that depths of one of the absorption feature may have changed in different luminosity, but still we need to determine the continuum tightly with the broader band spectrometer onboard ASCA. It is interesting in the point of view of unified scheme of AGN including radio galaxies.
