Abstract: Recent ASCA and ROSAT observations have given us a common view on the CXB: (1) According to the ROSAT Log S - Log N, AGN as weak as 10**-14~-15 erg/cm2/s contribute about 60% of the CXB (Hasinger et al. 1993). (2) ASCA observations of bright high z quasars showed steeper spectral indices than that of the CXB (Siebert, Matsuoka et al. 1995). (3) It is believed that low luminous AGN are major components of the CXB, but it is not yet clear what kind of AGN contribute to the CXB. In order to examine this view we propose to observe some low luminous quasars. Here we pick up some unobserved nearby quasars with bright optical absolute magnitude. Thus we investigate a common feature of low luminous AGN, in which we expect some different property from Seyfert galaxies.
