We have observed these two sources with ASCA, and discovered characteristic absorption line features. These features are unique in that they have never been seen from other persistent X-ray sources, and may be a signature of superluminal jet sources. We propose to observe GRS1915+105 using ASCA in conjunction with regular BATSE and radio observations. We plan to search for possible relations between absorption line features and hard X-ray or radio emission.
