The x-ray characteristics appear to imply a very young and somewhat underluminous remnant, perhaps displaying a centrally bright morphology. Our proposed observation will definitively determine if the emission is characteristic of a young ejecta-dominated remnant, or a moderate age remnant whose distance has been underestimated.
