It is the oldest among the neutron stars (<10^6 yr) which cooling surface emission is suitable for X-ray observation. RASS exposure is, however, not enough to distinguish whether it is magneto-rotation driven or cooling emission. The upper limit of its gamma-ray emission efficiency is about 0.03, much lower than the predictions from both polar cap model and empirical fitting of known $\gamma$-ray pulsars, and much lower than in the case of its twin-PSR1055-52. The proposed observation would help to clearify the nature of the X-ray emission of this pulsar.
