It exhibits extreme properties in all wavebands which so far cannot be atttributed to any special physical or environmental conditions of the source.. The ROSAT PSPC spectrum is unusually flat for a radio-loud quasar and cannot be determined well due to the PSPC's narrow energy range, limited spectral resolution, and the high Galactic absorption. A detailed study in a 20 ks ASCA observation will allow the reliable determination of its X-ray spectral properties and will thus enable us to pin down the physical and geometrical conditions of the central emission region of this unusual quasar.
