Suzaku is protected
from solar and cosmic-ray particles by the geomagnetic field; cut-off
rigidity is an indicator of the minimum momentum required for a
particle to reach a specific location, given the average geomagnetic
field configuration.
There is one more Fe calibration source installed
on the door. This source was used only in the initial operation

The bias voltage from two out of four high-voltage units
is reduced to 400 V (as of 2006 October).
The total effective area of PIN diodes will decrease by % above 20 keV.
