We release the following data to the public, so that researchers can experience the capability of Suzaku.
The data on this Web page are preliminary version. Instrument calibration is being established. Detector background can not be estimated precisely yet at this moment, especially in the HXD data. More work is needed to get accurate solution of the spacecraft attitude. Thus, it is not recommended to draw scientific results based on these data files. Please use these data at your own risk.
The public data are now in the official data archive at ISAS (DARTS) and NASA/GSFC (HEASARC) as part of the official V1.0 pipeline processing. Please download the data from these sites.
Each dataset contains cleaned event files and images of the XIS, cleaned event files, spectra, background of HXD (but not all the datasets), and an auxiliary HK (EHK) file with information on elevation from the earth rim, cut-off rigidity, etc.
All the data are in the standard FITS format, and hence you can use software like XSELECT, XSPEC, etc. If you don't have them, please download them from the following site.
