Subject: SUPERNOVA REMNANTS AND GALACTIC DIFFUSE EMISSION            
  Title: FRACTAL DIMENSION ANALYSIS OF THE GALACTIC RIDGE BRIGHTNESS                     


Abstract:
 We propose to perform a deep pointing on the Galactic ridge, to obtain high-quality
 data on the Galactic ridge emission. The brightness data will be subjected to a
 standard fractal dimension analysis, to examine wheter the ridge emission comes
 >from hot plasmas confined within numerous magnetic tubes.
