「てんま」衛星

「てんま」はわが国二番目のX線天文衛星です。日本時間で1983年2月20日鹿児島県内之浦町の宇宙空間観測所(Kagoshima Space Center; JKSC) より、M-3S-3 ロケットによって打ち上げられました。1989年1月19日に大気圏に再突入するまでの間、X線星、X線銀河、ガンマ線バースト、軟X線星雲などの宇宙起源のX線源の観測を行ないました。
